Ukraine took the second place in the opening speed data

Ukraine shares second place in the opening speed data ranking the Open Data Barometer with Colombia and Korea.

Ukraine became one of the leaders for speed of disclosure in ranking the Open Data Barometer. The study on the basis of which a list, cover the list from July 2016 to September 2017, reports on Friday, September 21, Radio Liberty.

As follows from the rating, Ukraine is ranking second in the rate of development of open data with Colombia and Korea. Since the publication of the first edition of the ranking, it increased it 25 points.

In the overall ranking of transparency in Ukraine 17 – she’s got 47 points out of a possible 100.

As noted by the drafters of the Open Data Barometer, the Ukrainian government publishes open data in all sectors covered by the project: map; right of land ownership; demographic data; budget; government spending; business registration; legislative activity; the schedule of public transport; international trade; education; crime statistics; state of the environment; the electoral activities and public transactions.

However, it is noted that not all datasets are available in popular formats and are of good quality. Also the drafters of the rating appreciate how easy it is to find the dataset and how often it is updated.

As reported, the first place in the ranking is shared by the UK and Canada.

Earlier Ukraine, according to the world health organization, is among the five countries with the highest number of registered cases of tuberculosis with expanded resistance.

It was also reported that Ukraine ratige human development took 88th place, down four places compared with last year’s report.
