Korn Ferry experts predicted, where in 2018 will experience the highest growth in real wages.

Ukraine took the third place in the TOP 10 countries in which this year will experience the highest growth in real wages. That rating was made by experts of consulting company Korn Ferry, according to News Economy.

In the first place was India with forecast wage growth of 4.7 percent compared to 4.8% last year. With a forecast of 4.6%, the second place was taken by Vietnam, where last year the growth in real wages was 7.2%.

Third place went to Ukraine, where this year analysts predict wage growth at 4.4% compared with 1.9% drop in 2017. Experts say that the basis of the Ukrainian economy is a diversified industry, agriculture and services.

“In 2014 in the country is falling, industrial production is the most affected sector, the main potential is concentrated in the East of the country: manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, chemical products, metallurgical products, engineering products,” Korn Ferry.

Completing the top five leaders of China and Indonesia, where growth is expected at 4.2% and 3.4% compared with 4% and 4.9% last year, respectively.

Next come Brazil and forecast for the wage growth of 3.3% (0.4% in 2017), Russia with 3% (-0.1%), Kazakhstan with 2.8% (-5,6%) and Bulgaria from 1.8% (4.7 percent). Closes the top ten in Italy, where this year analysts expect a 1.8 percent growth in real wages compared with 2.6% in 2017.

Recall that in 2017, in Ukraine the average monthly salary increased by more than 37% compared to last year and amounted to UAH 6900.
