Erdogan will raise the issue of the Crimean Tatars

Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Kyiv on October 9.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 9 will visit Ukraine for participation in the 6th meeting of the Strategic Council between Turkey and Ukraine. This was reported on the official website of the Turkish President.

At the meeting in Kiev will discuss bilateral and regional issues. In addition, Erdogan will meet with the head of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy and Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

As noted, during the visit to discuss new areas of cooperation to further deepen the strategic partnership with Ukraine in this direction will be signed various documents, and protocols.

Separately will be discussed the Crimean issue and the situation of the Crimean Tatars.

We will remind, in September, Poroshenko met with Erdogan in the framework of participation in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.

Earlier, Erdogan said that Turkey could not abandon its compatriots in a number of regions, including Crimea.
