Украина откроет новые КПП на границе с Польшей

Plans to open four new crossing points.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrey Parubiy and Marshal of the Polish Sejm Marek Kuchcinski in favor of increasing the number of checkpoints on Ukrainian-Polish border. About it said Parubiy after the meeting with Kuchcinski in Poland on 22 October.

Today the Verkhovna Rada Chairman and Marshal of the Polish Sejm examined the section of the Ukrainian-Polish border from Poland, where it plans to build the transition Malhowice – Nyzhankovychi.

“Today we agreed that our next step during next visit will be four points of transition across the boundary in the Carpathian region, two in Lviv and one in Volyn”, – said Parubiy.

In particular, we are talking about the construction of new crossings: Boberka – Town Lopushanka – Mihnovets in Lviv region, Adamchuky – Serega in Volyn region and Lubnia – Hairy in the Transcarpathian region.

Parubiy noted that in 2018 the budget of Poland provided 100 million zlotys (740 million UAH) for the creation of the checkpoint at the transition Malhowice – Nyzhankovychi.

Kuchcinski noted that while Ukraine is not an EU member, you need to build as many checkpoints on the border with Poland.

“It would be very good if Ukraine joined the EU, and then we would not had to think about the construction of checkpoints, and the money went to pensions, increase of salaries, construction of roads and improved quality of life of the people,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainians constitute the fifth part of all foreigners arriving in Poland, but in terms of spending money per trip are the undisputed leaders.
