The state statistics service recorded a GDP growth of Ukraine

In the first quarter of 2016, Ukraine’s GDP increased in comparison with the previous year.

Ukraine’s GDP in the first quarter of 2016 increased by 0.1% compared to the first quarter of 2015, while a year earlier the drop was 17%, reports the state statistics.

“GDP in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the previous quarter (adjusted for seasonal factors) amounted to 99.3%, as compared to the first quarter of 2015 – 100,1%”, – is told in the message.

As reported Корреспондент.neton may 6, the IMF said that Ukraine will soon enter into a period of record economic growth, which will be supported by the reduction of economic imbalances and improvement of the geopolitical situation.

The world Bank expects the growth of the Ukrainian economy in 2016 will remain at one percent.

And the Ukrainian Finance Ministry expects GDP to three per cent with an inflation rate of 8.1 percent.
