Operational state statistics service released data on GDP for the first quarter

In relation to the previous quarter, Ukraine’s economy in the first quarter of the current year taking into account seasonal factors added 0.9 percent.

The growth of gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine in January-March 2018 amounted to 3.1% compared to the same period of 2017.

Such a rapid assessment was published by the State statistics service on Tuesday, may 15.

The Department clarifies that, compared to the previous quarter the economy in the first quarter of the current year (including seasonal factors) added 0.9 percent.

Earlier, the world Bank left unchanged the growth forecast for the economy of Ukraine in 2018-2019 at 3.5% and 4% respectively.

We will remind that last year Ukraine’s real GDP increased by 2.5% compared with the year 2016 (in constant prices 2010) 982,920 to 2 billion UAH (actual prices).
