Ukrainian fighters-classics won two bronze medals of the European championship

Arthur Poletaev and Andrew Antoniuk won their fights in the bronze finals.

The Ukrainian wrestlers of the Greco-Roman style continued the medal tradition of Ukrainian representatives of wrestling in the European championship U-23, which is held in Hungarian Szombathely.

In four weight categories Ukrainian wrestlers made it to the three bronze finals. It was done: Arthur Poletaeva 71кг, Andrei Antoniuk 80kg and Nicholas Krysova 98кг. Two of them return home with medals.

Arthur Poletaev almost missed the victory in the bronze final against the Turkish athlete Murat Dag. Even 20 seconds before the end of the fight, the Ukrainians have won 7:3, but missed the attack and allowed the opponents to equalise 7:7, winning in the end only.

Another bronze in a moneybox of national team brought tents, which in a bitter struggle broke the resistance of the local fighter Peter Naked with a score of 5:4.

But Nikolai rat lost his fight for a medal German Mohammad North 2:4.

Earlier reported that in the European championship U-23 men wrestlers won three bronze medals while women won five medals and became the winners of the overall team standings.
