The Ukrainians claimed their fourth career medal tournaments of Grand Prix.

Ukrainian judoist Alexander Gordienko took the first place at the Grand Prix of Tunis in the weight category over 100 kg.

The start of the Grand Prix of the season the Ukrainian has started with the first round, where IPPON defeated the local athlete Suhail Guefrachi that in 2017, won second place in the Junior championship of Africa.
