Yulia Levchenko confirmed its status as the second strongest in the high jump.

Ukrainian athlete Yulia Levchenko won second place in the sector for the high jump at the Diamond League Finale in Brussels.

19-year-old Levchenko from the first took three attempts starting height and the height of 1.91 Ukrainian won at the second attempt and this guaranteed her at least a silver as the height took only Russian Maria Laeskina.

Following the height of 1.94 Levchenko took at the second attempt, while Laeskina has won her over the first jump. In the end, everything was decided at the height of 1.97, which the Russian took the second attempt, Levchenko and after two failures raised to a height of 1.99, but the risk has not justified.

Laecken, which has won the last 18 minutes of the competition, eventually won, conquering the height of 2.02 m.

Note that in August Levchenko has won world championship silver in London, also losing only Laecken, and by the end of August Levchenko was recognized as the best sportswoman of Ukraine.

Recall that in the first final, which was held in Zurich, Ukrainian Bohdan Bondarenko became the third in the high jump.
