The corresponding Protocol Bratishko signed in Lublin in the presence of the personnel of Litpolukrbrig and members of the coordination group.

“This is a momentous and very responsible event Ukraine is represented by Ukrainian commander and 17 staff officers shall maintain the operating ability of the acquired command Litpolukrbrig and develop further close cooperation in the framework of this multinational military unit,” – said Bratishko.

Recall, 19 September 2014 in Warsaw, the defence Ministers of Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania signed an agreement to establish a joint military brigade – Litpolukrbrig. According to preliminary agreements, the total strength of the brigade should be almost 2.5 thousand troops, of which from Ukraine – 545, from Lithuania – 650 and from Poland – 1250.

The team was created to participate in international operations under the mandate of the UN Security Council and decisions of the authorized bodies of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine. The location of the brigade – the Polish Lublin.

Earlier in Lviv started the first training mission of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade (Litpolukrbrig), teachings lasted a month.
