Online platform for long-term rental housing in the United States Rentberry closed a second round of funding. The project has attracted $2.8 million, bringing the total amount of the collected capital in a startup founded by Ukrainians amounted to $4 million, reports AIN.

Only in the last round, according to co-founder and CPO of the company Lily Ostapchuk, was attended by investors from 11 countries and 19 U.S. States.

The funds raised Rentberry plans to spend on developing new features, including the establishment of risk assessment system to potential tenants and homeowners, as well as innovative search algorithm of apartments based on the Blockchain and AI. The startup also intends to go beyond the US market and make the platform available to users around the world.

“We are excited the amount of attention that we receive from users, investors, and top professionals in the real estate market. As soon as our platform is prevalent throughout the United States, we began to receive offers of partnership and sale of franchise from companies from around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK”, — said the founder and CEO of the company Alexey lubinsky.

Rentberry is an online platform that aims to automate bureaucratic procedures related to long-term rental housing in the United States. Her property owners and potential tenants can negotiate the terms and price of rent, sign contracts, send/receive payment and to maintain communication in the event of force majeure.
