The world Cup made it three Ukrainka.
In the Slovak High Tatras ended the women’s European championship on chess.
European champion with a score of 9 out of 11 points was the Russian Valentina Gunina, who became a three-time champion. The silver medal went to Georgian Nana Dzagnidze.
But the bronze was won by Ukrainian Anna Ushenina. Kharkov was the European champion in 2016, and also became the bronze medalist in 2008, so this is her third medal.
In the last round, Anna Ushenina signed a peace Treaty in 10 turns with a German Elisabeth Paehtz. Also quickly, in just 22 moves, a draw was agreed Julia Osmak, which eventually finished in 11th place.
Another Ukrainian Mariya Muzychuk in the final round lost to the Russian Polina Shuvalova, but despite the defeat, caught on the last qualifying place in the top 14.
Alas, even the victory Inna Gaponenko over another Ukrainian Olga Babiy did not allow Inna to get into the top 14. She equally points with Muzychuk – 7 of 11 – but additional indicators are significantly worse.
