Ukrainians do not see improvements in medicine – a survey

Only 11% of respondents in the two years saw improvements in the medical field.

Over the past two years, 43% of Ukrainians saw no improvement in the sphere of public health services. This is evidenced by a poll of the group Rating.

While approximately the same number of Ukrainians (38%) believe that nothing really is and has not changed, and 8% of respondents could not answer the question. At the same time, 11% of respondents in the same period of time saw improvements in the medical field.

A third of respondents had used ambulance services over the last year. Among users of ambulance services 72% of respondents were satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism of the emergency teams, 25% remained dissatisfied and only 3% are undecided with their impressions.

More than half of respondents (56%) learn something useful for yourself about medifarma on television, the Internet on this topic is trusted by a quarter of respondents (25%), social networks and printed Newspapers – 1516%, radio – 12%, West sites – 6%, the Western media – 4%, Russian sites – 3%, and 1% in the Russian social networks and media.

In the context of medical reform most Ukrainians trust their friends (51%) and physicians (39%), colleagues and employees – 12%, representatives of local authorities – 5%, Ministers and the government at 3%.

The survey was conducted from 23 November to 4 December 2017 among 1,200 Ukrainians, 18 and older. The error is not more than 2.8%.
