Now the citizens of Ukraine can stay in Turkey up to 90 days

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko agreed with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip erdoğan on the extension of visa-free stay of Ukrainians on Turkish territory. About it reports a press-service of the Ukrainian President.

In particular, will increase the validity of national visas for continuous stay of Ukrainians on Turkish territory up to 90 days (now the term is up to 60 days – ed.).

In addition, agreement was reached on the intensification of negotiations on a free trade zone in order that both sides came to a compromise and removed any obstacles in mutual, bilateral economic cooperation.

According to Poroshenko, during the meeting reached a number of very important agreements. “First: final approval of the agreement on mutual protection of investments, agreement on avoidance of double taxation, which opens up mutual investment opportunities for Turkish investors in Ukraine and for Ukrainian investors in Turkey”, – said the President.

Recall, the visa regime between Ukraine and Turkey was cancelled in 2012. According to the latest rules of visa-free regime is valid provided that their stay does not exceed 90 days within six months. From the date of entry to Turkey, the Ukrainians could stay there every time not more than 60 days and within 180 days they can enter the country and leave it, provided that the total period of their stay does not exceed 90 days.

Previously, the Commission stated that to cancel visa for Kiev should be very soon.
