Shepetivka repair plant tested a batch of self-propelled artillery 2S3 Akatsiya and 2S1 Gvozdika before sending in troops forces of Ukraine. This was reported on the website of Ukroboronprom.

According to the press service of the concern, ACS has successfully implemented a series of shots and a March on the special ground in the Khmelnitsky region.

2S3 Akatsiya, which took place on cycle recovery of all systems, are equipped with a 152 mm howitzer, which can fire at a distance of 17-20 km, including modern drones type Quinic. Combat vehicle weight of 27.5 tons could move at speeds up to 60 km/h, thereby achieving high mobility and flexibility on the battlefield.

In turn 2S1 Gvozdika howitzer is equipped with a smaller caliber – 122 mm with a range of objectives about 15 km away. More lightweight Stud weight 15.7 tons and can move at a speed of 60 km/h, the machine has the ability to cross water obstacles by swimming.
