Poroshenko and Biden will sign an agreement in the near future.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Vice President Biden have agreed a bilateral agreement on granting Ukraine the third tranche of credit guarantees to one billion dollars.

“The sides agreed to sign in near future a bilateral agreement on granting Ukraine the third tranche of credit guarantees for 1 billion dollars”, – the press service Poroshenko after a telephone conversation.

In addition, the President told Biden about the measures on improvement of system of public finances and improving the business climate in Ukraine. He expressed the hope that the results of reforms in Ukraine will allow to strengthen support for Ukraine by the US, IMF and other international partners of the country.

Earlier, Biden during a meeting with Poroshenko in Washington called the condition the granting of new loan guarantees from the United States – the formation of the new government of Ukraine are ready to work with the IMF. Later, President Barack Obama confirmed that the third tranche of credit guarantees of $ 1 billion dollarsbut provided upon completion of the process of formation of the Ukrainian government.
