Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, has postponed her visit to Israel indefinitely after a vote of Ukraine for anti-Israeli resolution in the UN security Council. This was reported in the comment to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” press Secretary of Prime Minister Dmitry Stolyarchuk.

“Volodymyr Groysman has postponed his visit to Israel. New date of visit will be determined later,” said Stolyarchuk on Sunday.

We will remind, visit of, to Israel was scheduled for the 27-28 of December. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on 24 December decided to cancel the meeting in connection with the situation around the vote in the UN security Council.

As reported, on 24 December the UN security Council adopted a resolution that called on Israel to stop building settlements in the Palestinian territories.

Of the 15 members of the UN security Council 14, including Ukraine, voted for the resolution and only the United States abstained but did not veto.

The Israeli side quite immediately reacted negatively to the results of the vote, including in the Israeli media is spreading a lot of criticism of Ukraine’s position in this situation.

It is worth noting that on December 19, Israel supported the General Assembly resolution according to which Russia recognized as an aggressor state, and Crimea – temporarily occupied territory.
