German automobile concern of Volkswagen intends to expand the range of electric vehicles. “Political pressure on our industry will continue to grow”, – said the head of the group, Matthias müller, speaking to the leadership of the group in Hamburg.

The figure is one out of every ten VW sold the car, judging by the relevant statistics. Since 2014 the group sold a total of 64,000 cars.

Mueller also said that VW leads with other automakers, negotiations for the development of infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. According to the report of the group, the share of electric vehicles in the branch markets of EU, USA and China by 2025 can reach 25 percent, and by 2030 – 50 percent.
