The special representative of the US State Department in Ukraine Kurt Volker met with the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak. The meeting was held during the visit of an American diplomat in Kiev 18 December, the press service of the defense Ministry of Ukraine.

So, Poltorak said Volker, as at date, most of the measures planned in connection with the imposition of martial law.
The Minister also thanked the U.S. “for strong position” in support of Ukraine.
In turn, the Twitter of the American Embassy in Kiev noted: Volker stressed that “Russia’s aggression is unacceptable.” “Russia must release Ukrainian crew members, to return the Ukrainian court, and not to interfere with marine transit to and from Ukrainian ports,” the report says.
Earlier, Walker did not rule out that soon the US may introduce new sanctions against Russia because of the incident in the Kerch Strait.
