Kurt Volker talked about the visit to the Donbass

The special representative of the US state Department amazed by the resilience of Ukrainians in the war zone.

The special representative, U.S. Department of state Kurt Volker told about the visit to the Donbass. The corresponding video on Friday, may 18, announced on the social network Twitter, the U.S. Embassy in Kiev.

In the Donbas Kurt Volker, along with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, and the Deputy head of the USAID Brock Birman, met with representatives of the OSCE, non-governmental organizations and local residents who suffered from the Russian aggression.

Volker said that the United States will make every effort to restore peace in Eastern Ukraine.

“The most impressive in the journey was to see the strength and resilience of Ukrainians. They suffered greatly from this conflict in all aspects, but despite all this, remain strong, determined, configured to restore life, by the determination to restore peace. And we will make every effort to support their desire to achieve peace,” said Walker.
