Yushchenko called Dostoevsky, Repin and Tchaikovsky Ukrainians

The former President called the Ukrainian Ilya Repin and Tchaikovsky.

Former President Viktor Yushchenko during a meeting with students of Kyiv University of culture named Ilya Repin, Tchaikovsky, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky prominent figures of Ukrainian national culture.

“It is important to have a national Cathedral and to say that Repin – repa is a Ukrainian artist and Tchaikovsky – Chayka is a Ukrainian composer. Dostoevsky is a Ukrainian writer. In this series you can include thousands of names,” said Yushchenko.

Earlier Yushchenko said selling at the flea market.
