The President of Ukraine will appeal to the speaker of Parliament to convene an extraordinary meeting of Rada on Wednesday, may 22.

Lawyer Andriy Bogdan, the personal lawyer of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky and consultant of President Vladimir Zelensky, pleased with the result of communication of the newly elected President with the representatives of parliamentary factions. He stated today after the meeting, reports LB.ua.

“In our view, the consultations were very constructive. There were disputes about the constitutionality and the possibility to challenge such a Decree. But with such a Decree, all the factions have declared a willingness to go to elections,” – said the consultant.

According to Bogdan, the team Zelensky “see this date – July 21”.

“Will appeal to the speaker to convene an extraordinary session tomorrow,” said Bogdan.

The lawyer added that the decision on appointment of the head of the presidential Administration is still pending, but has announced that the first personnel decrees may appear tonight.

“Zelensky believes that this position should be assigned to someone very close to him, whom he trusts,” said Bogdan.

Earlier it was reported that after talks in the presidential Administration Oleg Lyashko said that early parliamentary elections could be held on July 21.
