The competitiveness rating of Ukraine fell

For the year Ukraine has dropped from 79th place among 140 countries on the 85th position among 138 countries.

Ukraine once compiled annually by the world economic forum (World Economic Forum, WEF) global competitiveness ranking dropped to 85th place against 79th the year before. Russia has risen on 2 lines, up to 43 seats.

The composition of the five leaders for the year have not changed – Switzerland, Singapore, USA, Netherlands, Germany.

The least competitive country named Yemen.

Among the most problematic factors affecting business in Ukraine, experts noted that corruption, political instability, inflation, inefficient government bureaucracy and access to financing. In addition, the weak competitiveness of Ukraine affected by crime, poor health of society and a poorly educated workforce.

Total rating of 138 countries. The global competitiveness report includes 12 indicators of competitiveness and is compiled annually since 1979 on the basis of publicly available information, and taking into account the views of thousands of experts from more than 100 countries.

As reported the Correspondent.net banks of Ukraine took the last place in the world for reliability among 140 countries.
