Today, may 7, arrived in Kiev participant of Eurovision-2017 Portugal Salvador Sobral, who has missed all the rehearsals of the competition because of illness. This is reported by “Ukrainian news” with reference to the press service of the organizers of the National public television of Ukraine.

“Previously it was announced that the singer has heart problems and he will arrive in Kyiv only on 7 may at the opening of the competition. At the first rehearsal he was replaced by sister Louise who is the author of the tender song”, - stated in the message.

Thus due to his illness Eurovision-2017 will be held under the new rules, according to “RIA Novosti Ukraine”. Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral will take the stage of the IEC tomorrow morning during the dress rehearsal, and in the evening it is waiting for the statement before the jury. The fact that from childhood he suffers from a heart defect and cannot compete on an equal basis with other participants in all rounds.
