Groisman glad to see the revival of river transport by barge with watermelons

For the first time in 14 years Kherson watermelons will go to Kiev on the river, said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on sending watermelons from Kherson to Kiev on the barge became the subject of jokes in social networks.

“For the first time in 14 years Kherson watermelons will go to the capital by road and river transport. This news is positive, which suggests that river traffic, which, unfortunately, is in decline in recent years, beginning to revive,” he wrote, Groisman.

He noted that the use of river transport reduces the load of the roads and reduces the cost of the product for the end customer.

However, users of social networks did not share the joy of Groisman.
