Chairman of the parliamentary faction of the Opposition bloc Yuriy Boyko during a meeting of the conciliatory Council of the Verkhovna Rada on Monday, may 16, called for the creation of a temporary investigative Commission to investigate the situation in the oil and gas sector.

“Parliament cannot stand aside from the tariff policy pursued in the state. Today, the government cannot explain why the cost of gas of own extraction for the population increased by 10 times from its cost. Especially cynical the fact that in a period of increasing gas prices oil and gas industry have raised his wages. It looks like a mockery of ordinary people”, - he said.

Boyko hopes that his initiative will find support among colleagues, and this FAC will be created.
