Igor Kononenko said that his candidacy was considered for the post of head of the PPB faction in the Verkhovna Rada. The people’s Deputy of Ukraine from the PPO reported in the “Evening Prime” TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

“As head of the faction, indeed, my name was among those under consideration, but then I decided, I believe quite effective in its place”, - said Kononenko.

Also, the MP added that he supported the candidacy of Artur Gerasimov to the post of head of the BPP in Parliament:

“I believe that Arthur Gerasimov for the year in Parliament as the representative of the President have grown and proved to be effective and systemic politician, organizer that is very important. From my point of view, Arthur (Gerasimov - ed.) – the person focused on results, which is able to achieve this result. This candidate I support”.

We will remind, at meeting of fraction the new Chairman of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” in Parliament almost unanimously elected Deputy Arthur Gerasimov. Against - 0 votes, abstained — 3, including Arthur himself Gerasimov.

Also note that to Gerasimov the head of the BPP in Parliament was Igor gryniv. He, according to a new faction leader, is to work in the Parliament.
