Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy expects a final vote in the European Parliament to grant visa-free regime in the beginning of October. He said this on his page in Facebook.
“The European Parliament’s Committee on civil liberties, justice and home Affairs (LIBE) endorsed the report on granting Ukraine visa-free regime. I welcome this decision of our European partners and thank them for their consistent support of Ukraine”, – said Parubiy.
He added: “During my last meeting with European Parliament President Martin Schulz, he said that assuming a positive decision of the relevant Committee final vote on granting bezveza will take place during the next session of the European Parliament in early October. Therefore, I believe that after a week MEPs will support this important and dear to every Ukrainian question”.
