Poroshenko recently met with Tillerson during trip to Washington

Us Secretary of state will make his first official visit to Ukraine.

In the US State Department said the main topics of the meeting of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and us Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, which will be held this coming Sunday, July 9.

As reported on the website of the state Department, Tillerson will accompany the President of the United States Donald trump on a trip to Hamburg to attend the G20 summit, and then go to Kiev.

“July 9, Tillerson will make his first official visit to Kiev where he will meet with President Poroshenko and with young reformers from government and civil society. Secretary will reaffirm America’s commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, while encouraging the government of Ukraine to continue to implement reforms that would strengthen economic, political and military resistance in Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

It is also reported that after Ukraine Tillerson will go to Istanbul where for two days will hold meetings with the leadership of this country.

As reported Корреспондент.netbefore it became known that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will meet with Tillerson on 9 July in Kyiv.

Also in the media appeared information that the visit of the head of the Department of state will be very short – just two or three hours.
