The court sent Yanukovych a summons for a hearing on charges of treason

Lawyers of the former President insist that the trial in absentia of Yanukovych illegal. The Prosecutor’s office say that the only reason for the termination in absentia proceedings is its voluntary appearance in Ukraine.
