Court of arbitration for sport (CAS) did not allow the Russian national team not only for the Paralympic games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, but for the Games of 2018 in South Korea. This is referred to in a letter to the Paralympic Committee of Russia, Federal Center of sports preparation of national teams of Russia”.
“Given that the decision of the IGC, duplicated CASS, on the non-admission of the Russian disabled athletes at the Paralympic games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro extends to the Paralympic winter games in 2018 in Pyeongchang (South Korea), are essential as soon as possible to respond to the accusations against TSSP of national teams of Russia that would clarify the proclaimed reason for the suspension of the membership of the RCC in the MPC and thus open the possibility of participation for our athletes at the upcoming Paralympic games,” the letter reads.

We will remind, the Russian national Team in full force was removed from participation in the Paralympics in 2016.
In turn, Russia intends to submit the claim to Sports arbitration court in Lausanne (CAS) the decision of the International Paralympic Committee.
