The President also appealed to the head of the EU delegation to Ukraine, Hugues Mingarelli and thanked him and Vice-President of the European Commission for the announced on the eve of the strong position of the European Union.
“It would also be important that you not allow your citizens to visit the Crimea to monitor the elections there,” - said Poroshenko. He added that it is, in particular, the representatives of France, Austria and Finland.
Earlier, EU high representative for foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini said that the EU will not recognize the results of the Russian presidential elections in the Crimea.
