Before the court decision, Vyshinsky could not be handed over to Russia, Lutsenko says
Vyshinsky is a citizen of Ukraine and, therefore, may not be extradited to Russia until a court decision.
Editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky cannot be transferred to Russia before the court decision. On Monday, July 15, said Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, reports UNN.
“If we talk about Wyszynski, this is indeed a very serious matter. And if to look from different intelligence sources, I know that Vishinsky - the man who interested in the leaders of the Kremlin the most. It must be borne in mind that Mr. Vyshinsky is formally a citizen of Ukraine. So transfer it to Russia is impossible. At least until then, until the court makes a decision on his case - or he’s guilty or not,” - said the Prosecutor General.
Lutsenko added that ssli court acquitted Wyszynski, he “will be a free man and can go anywhere.”
Note the court may issue Wyszynski from prison in connection with the Constitutional court’s recognition of the unconstitutional provisions of the Criminal procedure code, which the court in fact undertook to apply the uncontested measure of restraint (detention) in respect of a number of suspects in grave and especially grave crimes.
Court hearing on the case perencana on July 19.
